The latest versions of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS—iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4 — are now available after being launched late in the day on Monday, March 31.
The update brings Apple Intelligence capabilities to more regions and languages, including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Simplified Chinese. English localization has also expanded to Singapore and India.
For the first time, iPhone and iPad users in the European Union now have access to Apple Intelligence.
The suite of features also debuts on a new platform: Apple Vision Pro, where users in the US can now take advantage of AI-powered writing tools, image-generation functions, and creative enhancements like Genmoji.
Among the new offerings is the ability to compose text from scratch using ChatGPT, now integrated into Apple’s Writing Tools on Vision Pro.
Additional features include Priority Notifications for time-sensitive alerts, memory movie creation on Mac via typed prompts, and a new “Sketch” style in Image Playground that generates academic-style illustrations.
Apple Intelligence is designed with privacy at its core, using on-device processing whenever possible. For more advanced requests, the system relies on Apple’s Private Cloud Compute to maintain security while tapping into larger AI models.
